As someone who has loved writing since the age of six, instilling good writing skills in my children is a top priority. Kim Kautzer and Debbie Oldar had the same view of writing, but struggled with the implementation of traditional writing curriculums. Thus, WriteShop was born. They developed a curriculum that was creative and simple, yet had clear goals and guidelines. Originally intending the program to help their struggling sons, word spread and they now have users of the program in all 50 states, as well as several other countries.
