Right now, W is mad at me. We went out for errands and she wanted to go to Petco. I had to return home to cook dinner, so I had to turn down her request. Upon walking through the front door, she began a tirade of foot stomping, whining, and hitting. Not quite the sweet little girl I had left with. I think that she might need some extra mother daughter time.

One of W and I’s favorite ways to spend time together is to play beauty parlor. We have also have a scenario where she gets me ready for a ball. I have to admit that I enjoy getting my hair brushed, although she does tend to pull my hair when doing anything else to it.

While her makeup job is a bit on the heavy side, she does create me some lovely ensembles out of scarves and blankets. And she has completely scavenged all of my costume jewelry. I will usually wind up wearing two to three necklaces at once. W makes me feel like a real princess, right down to the pink lipstick!

Sadly, beauty time must end and W must go to bed. I dare not go to sleep with lipstick and eyeliner all over my face, so I use Mía Mariú’s Gentle Eye Makeup Remover to remove all the evidence.

It even works on my cheeks, so I tend to use it as an all-around makeup remover rather than just on my eyes. I’m so glad to have found it; I just can’t let W catch me taking off my makeup.

I think that next time there is a ball, W will be the one attending. Just wait until she sees what I can do with a bath towel and a sock!
